GOD LOVES TO SURPRISE US, DOESN'T HE?
God is an amazing Father and he loves to come through for us in amazing ways. He loves doing things that leaves us in awe.
There are so many times, you will think God has forsaken you but in reality he is preparing a mighty surprise for you. He will always out do what you wanted him to do.
As a matter of fact, every time you are going through very dark moments and periods in your life, God has switched off the lights in other to throw you a surprise party! Hold on!
The problem most times is that most people give up on God and think he would never show up, that's why people commit suicide, run away from God, choose alternative means that will lead to ruin to solve their problems.
Here are few biblical examples to show our God loves surprises!!! There are so many but let's take a few,
Abraham and Sarah were given a child Isaac, when they were both past the normal age of having children. Abraham was 99 years old!!!! They thought it was not possible but God surprised them!!! (Genesis 18 & 21)
Shadrach, Meshach and Abegnego, when they refused to bow down to the image of gold in Babylon and were about to be thrown in the fiery furnace, it would have been easy for God to deliver them before they were thrown into the fire, but nope God had to surprise them! "YOU THINK I CAN ONLY SAVE YOU FROM ENTERING THE FIRE? NO!!!! I WILL BE IN THE FIRE WITH YOU, THE FIRE WON'T HARM YOU! THERE'S NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME! Imagine how SURPRISED they were when the fire didn't burn them. God Loves Surprises doesn't he? He is with you in that fire! It won't kill you. God will surely deliver you. You will be surprised how you managed to survive the fire! (Daniel 3)
Daniel who chose to pray to God when there was a law that he should not was thrown into the lions den. God could have saved him before he entered the lions den but no he didn't. HE SAVED HIM INSIDE THE LIONS DEN. Imagine how SURPRISED Daniel would have been. It's simply God showing him, I created the lions, I command them. The king of Babylon himself must have been SURPRISED that the Lions didn't eat Daniel!! God really loves to surprise us doesn't he? No matter the lions den you are in now, God is sending his angels to shut the mouth of the lions. You will be surprised how you came out without the lions eating you up! (Daniel 6)
The devil thought he has defeated Jesus when Jesus died on the cross! After 3 days the devil received the greatest SURPRISE of his life!!! Jesus came back to life!!! Everyone that has left you for dead! Every situation that thinks it has defeated you, will be in for the greatest shocker!! You are Resurrecting again!!! Because our God is a God of SURPRISES!
We could keep on going and going with so many examples! There are so many in the Bible!
GOD WILL ALWAYS OUT DO THE LAST SURPRISE IN YOUR LIFE BY DOING SOMETHING BIGGER AND BETTER.
